Senior Land Manager

Free from the constraints and restrictions of PLC house builders you will be given the opportunity to move swiftly on land opportunities, without the exhaustive red tape and layers of approval but crucially, with the financial backing of a business in great shape and looking to the future.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • To identify and procure new Residential development opportunities using personal contacts, existing client database, property agents and direct approaches. The bias will be on Residential schemes.
  • Evaluate development sites using internal resources and external professional terms, purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, leases and options whilst liaising with the in-house legal team.
  • Development of new key relationships with third parties.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the development process from initial site identification through to the sale and letting of completed units.

About you

You must have experience as a Senior Land Buyer/Manager, in the residential, commercial or mixed-use development industry or with a developer with regeneration credentials. You must be used to working to exacting standards and strict deadlines to negotiate and prepare comprehensive and quality offer documentation to ensure the successful acquisition of new development opportunities. You must also be an ambitious and self-motivated person capable of unlocking value through the planning process, and co-ordinate and lead teams of professionals to achieve company goals.

Qualifications and training

You are a person with excellent management and communication skills, an established portfolio of successful projects, and fully established contacts to back up that profile. You are also fully proficient in the use of appropriate software such as the Microsoft Office package, including Word, Excel and Project.
