​Quantity Surveyor - Overview

Dandara require an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Dandara Group Head Office.

The Quantity Surveyor’s role is to effectively manage all financial aspects of the Project that have an impact on the commercial viability of the scheme. This includes all matters relating to the building contracts, feasibility, cost plan and control, procurement, risk and opportunity management, and management
accounts reporting. Responsibilities will include but not limited to preparation of initial site budgets, preparation and negotiation of subcontract packages and documents, preparation of quarterly cost reports for Directors and continuous financial advice throughout the Project.

About You

You will be a driven individual with a working knowledge of JCT forms of contract and proven cost management and project administration abilities working on your own projects.To be successful, you will need to be a team player, self-motivated and able to work using your own initiative. Experience of MS Excel and Word is essential.

Qualifications & Training

Ideally you will have a BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent relevant qualification with proven residential and/or commercial project experience. If you have not heard from us within 3 weeks of applying, please assume your application has been unsuccessful.
