Dandara are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Site QC Manager with a proven track record of residential fit out, ideally on apartments. The apartments are to be completed to the highest standards of quality. The position is to be based at our site in the centre of Tunbridge Wells. There is a main contractor in place and this role is to assist the Senior Project Manager assess the quality of the build, reporting back to our developers team on all matters relating to quality with regards to the fit out element of the scheme.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Development Manager with the production of a robust set of Employers Requirements / contract documents in relation to the main contract, regarding quality plan and control.
  • Assume responsibility for the production of a robust quality control and handover strategy and procedure for inclusion within the Employers Requirements.
  • Review and comment on the design and specification for inclusion within the Employers Requirements in relation to the main contract, S106, S278 and any 3rd party construction / development agreements to negate construction defects.
  • Liaise and report to the Senior Development/Quality Manager.
  • Be able to work within a team environment.
  • As an individual, you will possess a good work ethic based on a structured and managed approach.
  • Manage day to day matters relating to inspections of the internal fit out works.
  • Monitor progress against the agreed programme to insure apartment handover rates are maintained.
  • Certify the quality of completed works at pre-agreed hold points / stages.
  • Attend weekly review meetings.
  • Ensure resolution of technical queries / RFI’s in a timely manner.
  • Ensure provision of information for inclusion in the health and safety file.

About You

With a background of working on high rise residential developments you will hold either a Site Manager’s Gold or Black CSCS card. It is essential you have residential apartment build experience.
